Vertical, a new series by Canvas

Vertical = “being in a postion or direction perpendicular to the plane of the horizon.”

Most of us live life horizontally as we look straight ahead. We plan our finances, family and future based on what we see and feel. Others of us put our trust in money, relationships or even our own talents. Circumstances and the simple frustrations of life can instantly take these things from us or  create a fog that makes it hard to choose what is best. Horizontal living is a gamble at best!

God has designed us to live Vertical because he does not want us to gamble with our life and the decisions we make. Living a life of complete dependence and trust in God is living a life of worship where our eyes are not looking to the horizon but looking up vertically to Him.
