At Canvas Kids, we believe no one is too young to encounter Jesus, know His love, and live His plan. Our heart is to partner with families in building a strong foundation of faith that children can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

God’s Word tells us, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We take that responsibility to heart by creating intentional opportunities for kids to know God’s Word, grow in their faith, and build a relationship with Jesus

Every Sunday, kids experience Bible teaching, worship, and activities that bring God’s Word to life in a way they can understand and apply. We want church to be a place where kids have fun, build meaningful relationships, and develop a faith of their own. We believe the foundation being built today can shape a lifetime of following Jesus and make a lasting impact for generations to come.

Canvas Kids offers safe, fun, and age-appropriate classrooms designed for every stage of your child’s development:

Babies Classroom: 3–23 months
Preschool/Toddler Classroom: 2–5 years
Elementary Classroom: 1st–5th grade

At Canvas Youth, our heart is to create a place where every student feels like they belong and are known. Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). We want that love to define our community as students build genuine relationships and grow together as disciples of Jesus during some of the most formative years of their lives.

We meet every Sunday at 6:00 PM and welcome all Middle School and High School students. Students can expect fun activities, powerful worship, a life-giving message from God’s Word, and authentic community designed to help them build a faith of their own and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus beyond a Sunday night.

During Small Group sessions, our Youth Small Group is an extension of Sunday Night Youth, giving students an opportunity to go deeper into the messages we’re teaching on Sundays through conversation, questions, and practical application.

At Canvas Young Adults, we want to help create an environment where young adults can build authentic relationships, grow in their faith, and follow Jesus alongside others navigating similar seasons of life. The Word tells us that the early church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42). That picture of doing life and growing in faith together is at the heart of Canvas Young Adults.

Life during the Young Adult age (18 post-high school - 29 years old) can look different for everyone. You might be starting college, beginning a career, figuring out what’s next, somewhere in between, or simply starting from ground zero, and that’s okay. Canvas Young Adults is a place to navigate this season of life alongside people who are navigating it too.

Once a month, we gather together simply to have fun and build relationships. From nights out and activities to events and other hangouts, these gatherings are an easy way to meet other young adults and get connected to the community.

During Small Group sessions, we gather weekly for a sermon-based Small Group that builds on the Sunday morning message. It’s a space to talk through what we’re learning, ask honest questions, and practically apply God’s Word to our everyday lives alongside other young adults.

Canvas Women’s Ministry is passionate about seeing women of all ages be the women of God they have been uniquely created to be and empowered in their giftings and talents to impact the Kingdom of God. We love building relationships that champion one another as we do life together, while having fun in community and keeping Jesus at the center of it all. We look forward to doing life together.

Canvas Men exists to raise up Godly men who can lead their families, their communities, and impact our culture. We are committed to pursuing God and His character through authentic relationships, accountability, and servant-leadership.

The Canvas Men gather on the first Saturday of the month at
8:00 am in the sanctuary for prayer.

Canvas Church partners with Foster the City to support foster children and families, addressing needs like homelessness and trauma through community-based care. The ministry provides a "support team" model, allowing volunteers to offer meals, babysitting, and encouragement to foster families, with a goal of having a waiting list of families for children in need. 

• Purpose: To support children in the foster system and the families who care for them.
• Involvement: Individuals can serve as Foster Families or support friends (providing meals, transportation, or childcare).

Led by Pastor’s Miguel and Debbie Rivera, two or three times a month, we go somewhere! Whether it’s just across the border into Baja or flying to another country across the globe, we go to preach the Good News. Reaching the world is God's passion and our purpose. We do this by developing pastoral leaders and strengthening the local church alongside outreach ministries in rural communities around the world.

Canvas Outreach Ministry exists to lead our church in reaching our community, with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ, so they might encounter Him, know His love and live His plan.

Our Prison Ministry exists to take the word of salvation and the redeeming power of Jesus, the lost and broken behind prison walls. We believe the Lord is raising up pastors and teachers of His word even in the prisons, with our help. This ministry began about 1 year ago, by Arturo Sampo, who knows first-hand how life-changing it can be for a prisoner to hear that there is hope for a new life in Jesus.

Our Prison Small Group meets three times a month, at the Tijuana or Ensenada prisons with inmates and Canvas Church volunteers.

Join us as we lead the lost to Jesus and experience the hunger that exists for Him behind bars.
