Ministry Team

At Canvas Church, we believe being a part of the Ministry Team is more than filling a position or meeting a need, it’s an opportunity to follow the example of Jesus and use what God has placed in you to make a difference in the lives of others.

Why we serve

Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Jesus modeled a life of serving others, and when we serve, we have an opportunity to become more like Him.

We also believe serving helps us discover and develop the gifts and talents God has given us. You may already know where you’re gifted, or you may discover something in yourself you never knew was there. As we step out and serve, God can use our unique personalities, abilities, experiences, and gifts to build His Church and make an impact for His Kingdom.

There’s a place for you

There’s a place for you on the Ministry Team. Whether you love serving with kids and students, welcoming people, worship and production, serving behind the scenes, or helping in other areas of the church, there are opportunities to use what God has given you to serve others.
