Give of your Finances

Proverbs 11:24-25, Malachi 3:10

Have you ever prayed for God to reveal if He truly exists or not? I usually go with “If you are real, turn off the light now” or “make a noise I’ve never heard before”. So far it has never worked, but don’t worry I know He is real.  I love Malachi 3:10, not because it promises that the floodgates of heaven will pour out so much blessings that I won’t have room to store it, but because of a simple dare that you won’t find anywhere else in the Bible: “TEST ME ON THIS”. If you really want to know if God is real, and if His principles work there is not a more certain way to do it than by giving financially, he even dares you to do it.

Giving financially is hard, especially if you are in need, but its worth it. It’s like working out, although there are some people that just love it, majority of gym goers are there for the results not for the experience. Let’s face it, we would all love to be incredibly fit by sitting on the couch and eating donuts but it doesn’t work that way. You have to put in the time to get the results you want. Giving works the same way. Yes giving once works and it will bring you joy, and blessings but its when it becomes a lifestyle that your life truly changes.

I challenge you to test Him on this, incorporate giving into your life and you will experience blessings that go beyond just your finances.
